Autism Kinship
What is Kinship?
Autism Kinship was born from the need to build a network of support for mothers and families of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The first-ever Autism Kinship Mom’s Night Out was held on September 30, 2005. Since then, hundreds of families have attended this annual event.
Once a year, we provide an environment that cultivates a time and place where moms rest, heal and find “sisterhood.” Our motto is “Your child is my child and my child is your child.” This annual experience has become an oasis away from the many demands of parenting a child with autism.
Autism Kinship sets the stage to provide:
Education, Support, Networking, Recourses, Friendships, Fun and Rest...

The Autism Kinship Overnights are just one of the many exciting events that are held throughout the year that represent Kinship. Our 2010 Autism Kinship Annual Party will be held on Friday, February 5, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 707 E. Butterfield Road, Lombard. Designed for mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, this event will provide moms with the opportunity to share stories, concerns and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Festivities will include story telling, idea sharing, a costume contest and lots of laughter.
