Community Living Services
Community Living Services helps adults with autism and other developmental disabilities live in apartments, condominiums and single-family homes as independent members of the community. Little Friends strives to help our clients enjoy the freedom to shape their own lives and make decisions about their own homes, friends and how they spend their time. Our breadth of experience in the field of autism has provided us with the tools to adapt each environment to meet the unique needs of our residents.
Intermittent or 24-hour support is provided based upon each individual’s needs. Clients also receive help accessing resources such as Medicaid, food (LINK) assistance and Social Security. As part of the residential living program, Little Friends’ highly professional and state-licensed staff also provides a clinical assessment of each individual’s health status and self-medication capabilities and help to coordinate services to meet each client’s physical, mental, emotional and behavioral needs.
Little Friends manages the more than thirty properties our clients call home. Homes and apartments located throughout DuPage and Will Counties provide access to numerous amenities such as shopping, dining, and entertainment for our clients.
