Support Little Friends
Little Friends relies on the kindness of numerous individuals to carry out our mission of empowering children and adults with special challenges, and their families, to live fulfilling lives in their community. While the agency maintains a diverse funding portfolio, we must raise funds each year to help us cover all our expenses. We appreciate on your support to help us meet all our mission-related funding objectives to which we are truly grateful. For every $1 raised, we dedicate 90 cents toward our five different programs.
The need for services for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities is astounding, and the current demand for these services outstrips the supply. To continue providing the best possible care to the children and adults we serve, we face the need to modernize Little Friends facilities and increase our capital and programmatic capacity to enhance our quality of care.
In addition to direct cash donations, there are many other ways donors can support Little Friends financially. Planned Giving enables donors to make larger gifts to charitable organizations than they could make from ordinary income. Some planned gifts provide life-long income to donor. Other gift plans use estate and tax planning to provide for charity and heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.
At Serendipity, we offer quality clothing, household items, jewelry and other collectibles. But most importantly, we support the Little Friends’ mission of fulfilling lives.
