The Artist – Joy’s artwork is often very intricate involving detailed designs, using methodical art techniques to create her style of very technically skilled work. Joy works in a variety of mediums from Jewelry and accessory making to working with yarn, thread and wire.

Visually 3D aspects, and techniques of piecing together are a theme seen throughout Joys hobbies and artworks. “I like building Legos, working on jigsaw puzzles, and even building Ikea furniture, anything with instructions I can follow!” states Joy.

Joy recently learned crocheting and has created stuffed animals, and assorted pouches. She likes making purses, wallets, and mandala designs made from both beads and yarn. Joy’s works often feature imagery close to her heart, such as her dog and Hello Kitty. Joy states, “I make art because it’s fun and keeps my hands busy, giving me something to do”.
