Family Support Network

Little Friends Family Support Network offers socialization opportunities for families along with the information, resources, and support they need to make informed choices for their loved ones. This group meets quarterly at our Warrenville campus.

The mission of the Family Support Network is to link the common bond between Little Friends families and friends of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the different stages thru life’s journey.

We invite parents and caregivers to join our effort to connect families!

We follow up on our February event on legal planning with more details regarding financial planning for the special needs family. Our guest will be Karl J. Maurer, CIMA®, CPFA, CEPA, Senior Vice President & Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Wealth Management – The Sandlin Maurer Group. Karl will not only share his professional financial experience but also how he has applied this knowledge in his personal life, raising his son with disabilities.

We are excited to have events scheduled throughout the next year. In addition to informational meetings presenting topics important to families, we will also introduce social events for caregivers as a chance to connect with others in a casual environment.
