Family Services

Now more than ever, families of those with autism and other developmental disabilities seek support, direction, and guidance.  Little Friends has recognized this need by focusing on the families we serve with the reintroduction of our Family Support Network and the establishment of our Family Care Team in addition to the work done by our school’s Family Services Division.

Our Family Care Team supports the initial interactions with families, public entities, and advocates to learn more about our programs, the breadth of our services, and the resources available through our trained clinicians, educators, and professional staff.  We are always available to provide further assistance at 630.355.6533 or info@lilfriends.com.

Little Friends Family Support Network

Our Vision

Little Friends Family Support Network offerd socialization opportunities for families along with the information, resources, and support they need to make informed choices for their loved ones. This group meets quarterly at our Warrenville campus.

The mission of the Family Support Network is to link the common bond between Little Friends families and friends of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the different stages thru life’s journey.

We invite parents and caregivers to join our effort to connect families!

We invite all caregivers to Little Friends upcoming Family Support Network event on April 12 from 6-8pm at our Warrenville campus. The evening’s program will allow families to connect with others caring for individuals of the same age to share resources and experiences and learn more about others’ journeys and how we can all support each other! On-site care will be available to enable families to attend the event, RSVP here: https://forms.gle/yJdrxrsSjabJ9syH9

We are excited to have events scheduled throughout the next year. In addition to informational meetings presenting topics important to families, we will also introduce social events for caregivers as a chance to connect with others in a casual environment.
